How to Use Swarms

A complete guide to finding, running, and getting the most out of AI swarms on SwarmSeller.

01

What is a swarm?

A swarm is a team of AI agents working together on your behalf. Instead of asking one AI a question and hoping for the best, a swarm sends your request through multiple specialist agents — each one handling a different part of the task.

For example, the Job Hunter swarm works like this:

1
Resume ParserClaude

Reads your CV and extracts your skills, experience, and target role

2
Job ResearcherPerplexity

Searches live job boards for real current openings that match your profile

3
Company ScoutPerplexity

Researches each company — culture, reviews, recent news

4
Opportunity ScorerGPT-4o

Ranks each job by how well it matches your experience and goals

5
Outreach WriterClaude

Writes personalised messages for each top company

6
Final ReviewerClaude

Quality checks everything and delivers your complete job search report

The result is something no single AI could produce — a complete, researched, personalised job search package in under 90 seconds.

02

Finding the right swarm

Go to the Marketplace and browse by category or search for what you need. Here is how to evaluate a swarm before purchasing.

Read the description carefullyA good swarm listing tells you exactly what it does, what you need to provide, and what output you will receive. If the description is vague, the swarm probably is too.
Check the sample outputEvery published swarm has a real sample output showing what it actually produced. Read it carefully — this is exactly the quality and format you will receive.
Read the usage instructionsBefore running any swarm, read the How to use section on the swarm detail page. It tells you exactly what information to provide for the best results.
Check the example promptThe example prompt shows you precisely what to type when running the swarm. Use it as a template and replace the details with your own information.
Look at ratings and reviewsOnce a swarm has reviews, read what real users say about their experience. This is the most reliable signal of quality.
Check the node countMore nodes generally means more thorough output but longer wait times. A 6-node swarm will take 60-90 seconds. A 3-node swarm will take 20-30 seconds.
03

Running a swarm

Running a swarm is simple. Here is exactly what to do.

1

Open the run page

Click Run This Swarm on the swarm detail page or the Run button on your dashboard. You will see the input box on the left and a guide panel on the right.

2

Read the guide panel first

Before typing anything, read the How to use and Example prompt sections on the right side of the screen. They tell you exactly what to include in your input for the best results.

3

Write your input

Type your prompt in the input box. Be as specific as possible. Include names, numbers, deadlines, and context. The more detail you provide the more useful your output will be. Click Use this → to auto-fill the example prompt as a starting point.

4

Upload a PDF if needed

Some swarms work best with a document — a CV, a contract, a research paper, a financial statement. Click the upload area to attach a PDF. Claude will read it directly as part of the run.

5

Click Run Swarm and wait

The progress bar shows your estimated wait time. Most swarms complete in 30-90 seconds. You will see each agent complete in real time in the Agent activity section.

6

Review and use your output

When complete your full output appears at the bottom. Click Copy output to copy it to your clipboard. You can also click any agent step to expand it and read that agent's individual output.

04

Writing great prompts

The quality of your output depends almost entirely on the quality of your input. Here is how to write prompts that get great results.

Weak prompt

Help me find a job in marketing.

Too vague. No experience, location, salary target, or seniority level. The swarm has nothing to work with.

Strong prompt

I am a senior marketing manager with 8 years in B2B SaaS. Looking for Director of Marketing roles, remote, US or UK, $130k+. My resume is attached.

Specific. Includes experience, seniority, location, salary, and a document. The swarm can do its best work.

What to always include

Who you are and your relevant background
What you want to achieve specifically
Any constraints — budget, timeline, location
Names of companies, people, or products involved
Any documents that provide context
Your preferred output format if you have one
05

Understanding your runs

Every SwarmSeller plan includes a set number of runs per month. Here is how runs work.

What counts as a run

Each time you click Run Swarm and the swarm completes successfully counts as one run. If a swarm fails due to an error it does not count against your limit.

Checking your remaining runs

Your runs remaining counter is shown in the sidebar on every run page. It updates in real time after each run. You can also see it in your dashboard.

When runs reset

Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Creator) reset on the 1st of every month. Unused runs do not roll over. Free tier gives you 1 lifetime trial run — it does not reset.

When you run out

Paid users see when their runs reset and can upgrade immediately or wait for the 1st. Free users see that their lifetime trial run has been used and can upgrade to any paid plan to keep running swarms.

Upgrading your plan

Go to the Pricing page to upgrade. Your new run limit takes effect immediately. You are billed for the remainder of the current month on a pro-rated basis.

06

Getting the most from your output

A swarm output is a starting point, not a finished product. Here is how to use it effectively.

💡

Expand individual agent steps

Click any agent step in the Agent activity section to read its full output. Sometimes the most useful insights come from intermediate steps — not just the final output.

💡

Copy and edit in your own tool

Click Copy output and paste into Google Docs, Notion, or your email client. Always read and edit the output before using it professionally. AI is very good but not perfect.

💡

Run again with more detail

If your output is not quite right, click Run again and rewrite your prompt with more specific information. The second run is almost always better than the first.

💡

Use the output as a draft

Treat swarm output as a first draft written by a very capable assistant. Your job is to review, refine, and add your personal voice or expertise on top of it.

💡

Verify facts independently

AI can make mistakes, especially with numbers, dates, and specific facts. Always verify critical information independently before acting on it — especially for financial, legal, or medical decisions.

07

Leaving a review

Reviews help other users find the best swarms and help creators improve their work. You can leave a review after running a swarm at least once.

1

Go to the swarm detail page for the swarm you ran.

2

Scroll to the Reviews section at the bottom.

3

Click the stars to set your rating from 1 to 5.

4

Write your review — what did you use it for, what were the results, would you recommend it?

5

Click Submit Review. Your review appears immediately.

Note: You can only review a swarm after running it at least once. This ensures all reviews come from real users with real experience.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a swarm take to run?

Most swarms complete in 30-90 seconds depending on the number of agents and whether they use live web search. The estimated time is shown in the sidebar before you run.

Can I upload documents?

Yes. The run page has a PDF upload area. Claude will read your document directly as part of the run. This works best for CVs, contracts, reports, and research papers.

What if I get a bad output?

Click Run again and rewrite your prompt with more specific information. If the swarm consistently produces poor output, contact the creator via the swarm detail page or reach out to us at swarmsellerofficial@gmail.com.

Is my data private?

Your inputs and outputs are not shared with other users or creators. We do not use your data to train AI models. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I use the output commercially?

Yes. You own the output produced by any swarm you run. You can use it for personal or commercial purposes.

What if a swarm fails?

Failed runs do not count against your monthly limit. Try running again. If the problem persists contact us at swarmsellerofficial@gmail.com.

How do I cancel my subscription?
